In General The permanent
exposition of the Occupations Museum, which was opened in 2003,
reflects developments in Estonia from 1940 to 1991, when Estonia was
alternately occupied by the Soviet Union, Germany, and by the Soviet
Union once more. More or less thematic temporary exhibition are
also organized.
Guides are available upon prior reservation. The Museum is located at Toompea St. 8, at the corner of Toompea St. and Kaarli Blvd., and is open year round from Tuesday to Sunday, between 11 am and 6 pm, except for national holidays. See the map. Tickets are
30 EEK
for adults and 15 EEK for students. There is a small museum shop, where one can purchase Memento and Kistler-Ritso Eesti Foundation publications and souvenirs. The Museum rooms can be rented for seminars, receptions, presentations, etc. Available films can also be viewed on a large screen in the museum cinema hall.
